River Road Park is a public green space situated along Cibolo Creek in Boerne, featuring paved trails, fishing piers, and historic dam infrastructure.
The dam at the east end of River Road Park was originally part of the Dietert homestead and was deeded to the City of Boerne in 1912. Formerly known as Riverside Park, the grounds underwent renovations in 2013 and 2024 to rebuild the creek bank and prevent erosion. These updates added modern amenities while preserving the area's historical connection to the old Dietert Mill Dam.
